He explains the difference between vitamins and minerals, and he gives some recommendations on vitamins that are beneficial for all. Dr. Mindell also talks about taking supplements in the winter, why he refers to minerals as “the Cinderellas of the nutrition world”, and the benefits of commonly recommended supplements like fish oil, turmeric, and probiotics.
