How can probiotics keep me healthy?

Leaky Gut | Probonix Repair | Humarian | Best probiotics

Probiotics (also known as good bacteria) can provide countless benefits for your body. Some of the most common uses for probiotics are for specific intestinal issues, like constipation, bloating, and digestive troubles. But probiotics aren’t just for people with tummy troubles. They can offer great benefits for people that do not suffer from major health conditions. Research has shown that probiotics can strengthen the immune system, improve nutrient absorption, manage cholesterol levels, reduce fatigue, and so much more.

One of the most important ways probiotics keep you healthy is by preventing bad bacteria, molds, and other pathogens from entering your body. When these harmful substances are passing through the gut, they must latch onto cells in the intestines before they are able to enter the body and cause any harm. If they can’t find anything to latch on to, they’ll just pass on through. Probiotic bacteria latch onto these cells so that the bad bacteria have nowhere to attach. In a healthy gut, most of the intestinal cells will have healthy bacteria attached to them. This means that there are significantly fewer cells left for bad bacteria to grab onto before they’re swept through the gut and out of your body.

As you can see, probiotics aren’t just for people with intestinal issues. Probonix is a probiotic supplement designed to help those with health issues and those that feel great and want to keep it that way!

What Others Are Saying

★★★★★

My 4 year old daughter loves this stuff. Not sure how to say this politely, but ever since she started using this I can tell a huge difference when she uses the bathroom. And maybe I’m imagining this but I think her mood is better overall when taking this consistently. I recommend these probiotics to all of my mom friends who want to improve the gut health of their little ones! My husband and I also use the adult version. Thank you for a great product!

★★★★★

Great stuff! Has definitely strengthened my entire family’s immunity. We have been using for a few months now. We have not changed any other variable, so I believe it has to be due to the probiotics. One son has become much more regular and is not experiencing usual spring allergy symptoms, another son that was barely on the weight charts has begun eating very well and putting on healthy weight. My teenage daughter’s complexion has cleared up considerably, and I am not having my usual sinus issues at all. We are sold on Humarian’s products.

★★★★★

I love these probiotics!!
After about two weeks of taking them they totally helped my bloating, and urinary track infection, and my digestion has improved. I feel so healthy taking these!

What are probiotics?

You hear the word all the time. And everyone tells you they are great for your health. But wouldn’t you like to know a little bit more about what they are and how they work?

About 60-70% of your body’s immune system is located in your gastrointestinal (GI) tract – to help prevent molds, viruses, and other harmful substances from gaining access to your body. Your GI tract naturally contains both “good” bacteria (known as probiotics or microflora) and “bad” bacteria. Researchers recommend that you maintain a healthy ratio of approximately 85% good bacteria to 15% bad bacteria.

Probiotics are actually live bacteria, in supplement form usually, designed to be introduced into your intestinal tract. These beneficial microorganisms are believed to help in the treatment of many diseases and ailments that have baffled traditional medicine for decades, especially gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea and Crohn’s disease.

While probiotics naturally occur in many foods, and are fermented into others (yogurt, some cheeses, certain beverages, etc.) taking them in supplement form has increased in popularity when introducing probiotic foods into the diet in the necessary volumes is not always practical.

Learn why eating yogurt may not be enough to meet your probiotic needs.

by Ryan Bentley, MD, PhD, DC | Sep 7, 2017

Short answer? It depends. Yogurt can be a great natural source of probiotics if you are willing to adhere to some very specific criteria, but most people don’t eat the right kinds of yogurt or the right amounts of yogurt to meet the needs of their bodies. While it is certainly possible to nourish your body with probiotics by consuming yogurt alone, it can be both difficult and ineffective to do so on a consistent basis.

Learn why you should still take a probiotic even if you enjoy fermented foods as a normal part of your diet.

by Ryan Bentley, MD, PhD, DC | Feb 18, 2020

Fermentation is a technique that has been used to preserve food for thousands of years. Many places without reliable refrigeration or electricity still use fermentation to store food, but even many of those with access to refrigeration implement fermented foods into their diets because they’re delicious and nutritious! The most common kind of fermentation in foods is lactic acid fermentation, in which bacteria and yeasts are used to convert starches or sugars into lactic acid.

Probiotics are Good Bacteria

Probiotics inhibit the growth of bad bacteria, promote good digestion, reduce toxins, and boost your immune system. So keeping a ratio of many more good bacteria to bad bacteria is crucial to staying healthy.

So how can you get more good bacteria into your GI system? You can get them by eating certain foods, or by taking probiotic supplements like Probonix.

When you take a probiotic supplement, millions of bacterial cultures (often referred to as CFUs – colony forming units) are swallowed and enter your stomach. This is where it gets tough, and where the effective probiotics are separated from the weak.

Testing the efficacy of probiotics is a complex and pricy process, but we were so confident in our formulation and its ability to deliver live CFUs through to the intestinal tract that we couldn’t wait to test Probonix against other leading probiotics.
